    There is no insurance company involved dictating to the provider what types of treatment, How often they can occur, or how many times the patient can be seen. Many employer provided expensive employee programs for the employees in times of personal crisis. Often these companies are billed 4 to 5 times what a session cost with just the standard discount card program. Additionally, often this EAP has a maximum number of sessions. With the Wellness Discount card Program, The employer can effectively offer free or affordable mental healthcare to their employees with no limitations.

    Patients medical records are kept confidential between the provider and the patient. The patient uses his or her health insurance and the insurance company is notified of both the diagnostic and the treatment, which goes into  the patients personal record. Further more, the insurance provider has the right to request all sessions notes and documentation  per there agreement. This further can follow the patient with the possibility of later causing an increase in the patients rates or even denial of service. Because of the sensitive nature related to mental health care, many patients wish to keep there treatment records private. With using the Wellness Discount Card, the only way your records would EVER be released would be through a personal request or a court subpoena.

    With the ever increasing cost of healthcare these days, many companies are forced to go to what is known as the "Luminous Plan".
